Creativity on the Solway Estuary
Mosslea is a creative business based on the Solway Estuary in Cumbria.
We produce handmade pottery and graphic design and print – and everything we make is crafted with care.
We work across two main threads:
Ceramics and Crafts
Mosslea Crafts is the ‘hands-on’ side of our creative business, focusing on ceramics, sometimes featuring locally foraged driftwood.
Every single piece is individually handcrafted, ensuring no two items are ever exactly the same- this uniqueness is very much part of our ethos. The tactile glazes and unique designs are heavily influenced by the rich flora and fauna of the Solway area, from local birdlife to magnificent running hares.
Art work, Design
and Printing
Mosslea Art and Design is backed by close to 30 years of commercial graphic design and printing experience.
We produce leaflets, brochures, cards, and many other printed items for businesses and individuals.
This side of the business also brings together our original painted artwork and our range of unique, custom-printed ceramic mugs.
